Template installation?

Hi im having problems installing the templates.

I run Look of My Site -> Website Template -> Site Template -> install a template

in templates installation it says everything is installed.. but when I go back to the Look of my site, the templates doesnt exist. It keeps asking me to install a template.

Are you able to see the screenshots of the templates after you click "Change Template".  There should be about seven.

Hi, no I cant see any templates. I've reinstalled the site 3x and its still the same.

"You are currently using a tempate named ."

there's no default template selected. And I cant install the template.

Are you having any problems logging out of the admin area?

Send me a private message with a URL, and I'll take a look.  It would be helpful to have a username and password.

NOTE:This was an issue with an earlier release when installing to a subdirectory, but was fixed before the current release.  Be sure you are using version 1.0.0.  Since you said you've tried reinstalling, I'm assuming this is not the problem.

If the templates are listed as installed, then the database queries were done correctly at installation.

Can you see the images when you click "Website Images" on the Admin menu?

Hi HandsomeWeb, I found the problem.

upon installing there is still an issue with the subdirectory.
when installing it asks you to enter your domain name in your example its (FORMAT: example.com)
so i always input my domain.. it should be www.example.com

when i entered www.domain.com

the problem was fixed

If Apache is not sending www.example.com to the same place as example.com then you will have problems such as this.

www.example.com and example.com are two different addresses, but many (most) servers treat them the same.  I remember my first hosting account in 1999 charged for two hosting accounts if I wanted both.  The installation must allow both for installations like: http://demo1.soswebpages.com.

Maybe if I just added both as an example.
